This is not a cookie cutter generic gym program and will meet and exceed all your needs to achieve optimal performance. The Diamond In The Rough strength program is broken into 3 periods, of four month cycles, for year round periodization. From the professional athlete to the weekend warrior this program is designed for year round growth and development. There's no need for fear of hitting the wall or plateaus, this program will help you run right through them.

Off-Season

The off-season program consists of 4 sessions per week alternating between lower and upper body focused workouts. This program is focused on correcting strength imbalances, increasing stabilization, with significant increases in strength and strength endurance. Upper and lower segmented workouts allow for overload on specific muscles groups, it also includes a collaboration of uni-lateral movements and multi-planar movements to decrease risk of injury when you get back to competition. 

Pre-Season

The pre-season program consists of 3 sessions per week with full body focus for all 3 sessions. The pre-season program is focused on continuing to increase strength from the off-season program while increasing plyometric movements for more focus on power. The full body sessions will eliminate overload on any segmental joints, as your training increases in sports specific movements and you move towards your competition season. 

In-Season

The in-season program consists of 3 sessions per week with a lower body, upper body and full body focus. The in-season program is focused on maintaining stabilization and a continued increase in strength, without excessive soreness in relation to increased sports related activity. This is a proven program to eliminate the in-season decrease in strength or plateau and is a continuation of the pre-season program for injury prevention through muscle balance and strength.
